Each can holds a piece of history — featuring one of ten authentic archival photographs from our company’s heritage, accompanied by stories from Engure. This is not just a can, but a fragment of living tradition you can take with you.
The recipe is based on wild Baltic sprats, traditionally smoked using natural wood, preserved in high-quality sunflower oil and finished with a touch of sea salt.
Within these simple ingredients lies meaning — sunflower oil reflects the warmth and light of Engure’s summers, while sea salt represents the strength and timeless presence of the Baltic Sea. The pine symbol on the packaging honours the resilience and character of the coastal landscape.
